Temprite Industries (NZ) Limited was formed in 1983 when a number of smaller companies operating in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation markets within the Bay of Plenty area decided to join forces. Temprite is 100% locally owned and operated. Our office and workshop are situated centrally in Rotorua, which enables effective quality control and management to our customers. We are proud to offer a wide range of design and installation skills within the building services and engineering trades and are certified to act as I.Q.P (Independent Qualified Persons) for the city councils in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions. Managing Director (Temprite Owner and Operator)
Keith is passionate about the heating and air conditioning industry and has been involved for more than 35 years, as well as being associated with Temprite for nearly 30 years. He completed an Advance Trade Certificated Refrigeration Engineering apprenticeship on leaving school. He is a member of the Institute for Refrigeration, Heating and Air conditioning Engineers. Keith is also IQP qualified, which means he can certify air conditioning and ventilation systems for Building Warrant of Fitness purposes. Keith can be found after hours playing with the family’s collection of classic cars, which includes a Mustang, Impala, Cortina, Capri and a Kombi.
Business Manager (Temprite Owner and Operator)
Steve has Temprite in his blood, son of Managing Director Keith, he was employed by Temprite in his early teens, working after school on many small projects. After finishing high school it was natural to complete his Refrigeration & Air Conditioning apprenticeship which Steve completed in 2005. Steve has since gained further experience working for the New Zealand distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning/Heat Pumps and also in the dairy industry managing the repairs, maintenance and replacement of milk vats in the Bay of Plenty region for Fonterra Co-operative Group. After hours Steve likes to spend time with his young family, or in the outdoors, often found fishing, mountain biking or playing soccer for one of the local football clubs.
